After his studies, Charles arrived in Luxembourg in 2005 and worked for seven years as investment advisor for private clients before continuing in portfolio management for an equivalent period.

He joined BLI's multi-management department in 2019 in is in charge of selecting investment funds. Charles earned a Master's degree in Management from EDHEC in Lille, France, and, as part of an exchange program with the University of Mannheim in Germany, he specialised in finance. He is also a CFA (chartered financial analyst) charter holder.
