Damien Assa holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from HEC Lausanne and continued his academic career with a Master's degree in Management, specializing in banking and asset management, from HEC-University of Liège. His final thesis was awarded the prize for Best Thesis in Finance in Belgium by the CFA Society Belgium.

After completing a several-month internship with the emerging and Asian equities team at BLI - Banque de Luxembourg Investments, Damien formally joined BLI in 2024, initially as a fund analyst, and currently holds the position of Japanese equities analyst.
