A civil engineer who graduated from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich and holds a Master's degree in Management from King's College London, Marc Erpelding gained his first professional experience in industry in Zurich and New York.

In 2002, he joined Banque de Luxembourg as a fund analyst and fund of funds manager in the Asset Management department. He obtained the CIIA (Certified International Investment Analyst) designation in 2005 and became head of emerging market equity management in 2007. In 2025, he was appointed Head of Asset Management at BLI - Banque de Luxembourg Investments, overseeing all management teams.
